This website itself is a static marketing page. It does not collect any personal data through forms. Fonts used on this site are self-hosted, not loaded from a third-party font provider, so no data about your visit is sent to Google or any other font service.
We do count visits, using Vercel Web Analytics from our hosting provider Vercel Inc. It is cookieless: no cookies, no fingerprinting, no identifier that could follow you between visits or sites. It records only aggregate numbers - which page was opened, where the visit came from, and a rough country and device type - so we can see whether anyone is reading the site. Nothing here identifies you, and nothing is sold or used for advertising. This runs regardless of the cookie choice below, because it stores nothing on your device.
We also advertise on Google, and we need to know whether those ads lead anywhere. For that we use the Google tag (conversion measurement, tag ID AW-18351778460), provided by Google Ireland Limited. This is the only thing on this site that uses cookies.
It is off until you say otherwise. The tag loads with Google Consent Mode v2 set to denied for advertising and analytics storage, so before you make a choice no cookie is written and no identifier is stored. Only if you press Accept on the cookie bar does that change to granted; if you press Decline, or simply ignore the bar, it stays denied. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage under the key sz-consent and can be cleared at any time by clearing site data in your browser, which brings the bar back.
When granted, the tag may record that a visit arrived from a Google ad and later resulted in a trial or purchase, and it may set Google advertising cookies for that purpose. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25 TTDSG / the ePrivacy rules in your country). You can withdraw it at any time, with effect for the future, by clearing site data. This transfers data to Google, which may process it outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
All purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. When you buy a SCRIPTZ product, Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your name, email address, country, and payment details on our behalf, in order to:
Lemon Squeezy acts as Merchant of Record for these transactions and is itself responsible for GDPR-compliant handling of this data. Their privacy policy is available at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.
SCRIPTZ is a desktop application that runs entirely on your own computer. By default, your video and audio files never leave your machine - all analysis, transcription and editing automation runs locally. The application contains no analytics, telemetry or tracking.
Purchase and delivery data, and license activation data, is processed under contract (to fulfil the sale you requested and enforce the license terms) and, where applicable, legal obligation (tax/accounting records). We do not process any personal data for marketing purposes on this site.
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc.
Payment and customer data is hosted and processed by Lemon Squeezy.
Both providers may process data outside the EU under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
We do not independently store customer or payment data - it is held by Lemon Squeezy under their own retention policy, which generally follows statutory accounting retention periods (typically 7-10 years for tax records, per applicable law).
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Since purchase data is held by Lemon Squeezy, requests related to a specific transaction may be directed to them directly, or to us at support@scriptz.eu and we will forward/coordinate the request. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest revision.
